ABOUT NCCF
Known today as a ministry with a strong emphasis on the Word, Worship, and Missions, New Creation began as a prayer group at the home of Alfred and Pearlene Conyers in November of 1984. The Power of God began to move mightily and confirmed the faith of those praying for a spiritual renewal in the city of San Antonio.
Under the progressive leadership of David and Claudette Copeland, who were serving as the first African -American Chaplain couple in the U.S. Airforce, the church was officially incorporated in the state of Texas on March 5, 1985.
Under the progressive leadership of the Pastors, the congregation consistently grew at the first
location. In January of 2000, New Creation Christian Fellowship acquired a 2,500 seat Cathedral located at 8700 Fourwinds Drive in Windcrest, TX, where they worship today.
What WE Believe
There is one God, the Creator of all things who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of all men. He bodily arose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is now at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation.
Water Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and Foot Washing are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age. However, they are not to be regarded as a means of salvation (Matthew 28:19, Luke 22:19-20, John 13:12-15)
"Never has there been, Neither is there now, nor will there ever be another you or another me, and in this lifetime we are called to TRANSFORM lives through Jesus Christ!"
Bishop David M. Copeland, Senior Pastor
Every born-again, Spirit-filled believer should maintain a consistent personal devotional life, both by praying with the understanding and praying with the spirit and by daily study and application of the Word of God. This is evident by holiness of lifestyle, Godliness of character, and a love of the brethren (John 13:34-35).
The true Church is composed of those who are born again. Through this new birth, we are united together in the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church. Every local church under Christ has the right to decide and govern its own affairs.
The imminent second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ has a vital bearing on the personal life, stewardship, and service of the believer.
There will be a bodily resurrection of the dead, of the non-believer to judgment and everlasting punishment, and of the believer, to everlasting joy with the Lord.
